Damallsvenskan

Damallsvenskan is the top division of women's football in Sweden and one of the most established women's football leagues in Europe. Founded in 1988, the competition has played an important role in the development of the women's game, producing some of Sweden's greatest players and providing a platform for international stars from around the world.

The league features leading Swedish clubs competing for the national championship and qualification for European competition. Teams such as FC Rosengård, BK Häcken, Hammarby IF and Linköping FC have helped establish Damallsvenskan as a competitive league with a strong tradition of developing elite talent.

Swedish women's football has a long history of success at both club and international level, and Damallsvenskan remains at the heart of that tradition.
