Josefine Rybrink is back at Häcken and ready to make up for lost time after a frustrating stint at Tottenham left her short of minutes.

Josefine Rybrink is a familiar face at Häcken - yet she insists it doesn't quite feel that way. The Swedish midfielder has returned to the Damallsvenskan club following a difficult spell at Tottenham, where opportunities on the pitch proved frustratingly scarce.
Rybrink made the move to north London in 2024, but her time in England never clicked into gear. Now back in Gothenburg, she says the squad has changed so significantly that she feels more like a newcomer than a returning veteran - despite having racked up more than 150 Damallsvenskan appearances, Expressen reports.
She wasted little time making her mark. In her first start since rejoining Häcken, Rybrink helped the side to a convincing win over Brommapojkarna - an encouraging sign for both player and club.
Rather than dwelling on the frustrations, Rybrink frames her English chapter as a valuable education. The experience, she says, brought personal and professional development that she now intends to channel into Häcken's ambitions.
Those ambitions are considerable. With Häcken competing in both the Damallsvenskan and the Champions League, Rybrink is determined to bring leadership and hard-won experience to a squad gearing up for a demanding campaign.
