Defender Ashleigh Neville has left Leicester City to join newly promoted Charlton Athletic, reuniting with former Tottenham boss Karen Hills.

Charlton Athletic have snapped up defender Ashleigh Neville from Leicester City - and she's bringing her WSL know-how back to London.
Neville is no stranger to the top flight. She spent nine years at Tottenham, where she played a key role in the club's promotion to the WSL back in 2019 under the guidance of Karen Hills.
That same Karen Hills now happens to be at Charlton, which makes the move something of a reunion. Neville made no secret of her delight at linking up with her former boss once more, Sky Sports reports.
She joined Leicester in January but clearly couldn't resist the pull of London - and a freshly promoted Charlton side with big ambitions.
On signing, Neville expressed her excitement about the journey ahead and her hope of making an impact both on and off the pitch. For a newly promoted club, that kind of experience is worth its weight in gold. Or at least in shin pads.
