Italian midfielder Guilia Dragoni has joined Chelsea from FC Barcelona on a four-year deal, becoming the club's fifth summer signing.

Chelsea have snapped up 19-year-old Italian midfielder Guilia Dragoni from FC Barcelona on a four-year contract. Not a bad way to spend your summer, really.
The teenager arrives in west London after three-and-a-half years at Barça, where she climbed from the B Team to the senior squad. A loan spell at AS Roma added some extra seasoning along the way.
Dragoni already boasts 25 senior caps for Italy - though she's still hunting for that elusive first international goal. At 19, time is very much on her side.
The midfielder was positively buzzing after putting pen to paper, calling the move a dream come true. She credited head coach Sonia Bompastor for selling her on the club's vision during their conversations, as reported by ESPN.
Dragoni becomes Chelsea's fifth summer signing, with the Blues clearly in no mood to rest on their laurels this transfer window. Before Barcelona, she had been on the books at Inter Milan.
