Leicester City have completed a double swoop, signing Jessie Stapleton and Jess Ziu from West Ham United on permanent deals.

Leicester City have swooped for not one but two West Ham United players, snapping up Jessie Stapleton and Jess Ziu in a double deal that bolsters their squad nicely ahead of the new season.
Stapleton has penned a three-year contract, while Ziu commits for an initial two years. Both arrive on permanent transfers, with fees paid to the Hammers.
The pair share remarkably similar backstories. Both made the move to England from Shelbourne - Ziu in 2022, Stapleton a year later.
Stapleton picked up valuable minutes on loan at Reading, Sunderland, and Nottingham Forest. Ziu, meanwhile, has 23 West Ham appearances to her name but battled long-term injuries. She spent last season on loan at Bristol City.
Both are Republic of Ireland internationals with 20 caps apiece. Stapleton has bagged two goals for her country.
The duo bring Leicester's summer arrivals to four, as WSL Full-Time reports. Not a bad window so far for the Foxes.
