Crystal Palace have completed the signing of Shannon O'Brien from Leicester City on a three-year deal, making the 24-year-old forward their fifth summer recruit.

Crystal Palace have snapped up forward Shannon O'Brien from Leicester City for an undisclosed fee, making the 24-year-old their fifth acquisition of the summer transfer window.
O'Brien has put pen to paper on a three-year contract at Palace. Not a bad way to spend your Thursday afternoon, really.
The forward originally joined Leicester from Coventry United back in January 2021. She played a key role in the Foxes' promotion to the Barclays Women's Super League and racked up 99 appearances across all competitions. One short of the century - gutting timing.
With Leicester dropping back down to the second tier, O'Brien has opted to remain in the top division by heading to south London. She's reportedly buzzing about the move and the season ahead.
Palace are clearly building something this summer, and O'Brien adds proven WSL experience to their ranks as they gear up for the new campaign.
