The 24-year-old Hungarian midfielder moves to Serie A after an injury-hit spell in Germany.

Hungarian midfielder Luca Papp has sealed a move to Italian side Sassuolo following the early termination of her contract at VfL Wolfsburg, as reported by Soccerdonna.
The 24-year-old's deal in Lower Saxony was due to run until June 2027, but persistent injuries curtailed her involvement in 2025/26. She managed just a single DFB-Pokal appearance and never featured in the Bundesliga.
Papp spent most of her time with Wolfsburg's second team, netting twice in eight 2. Frauen-Bundesliga outings. She had arrived from Ferencváros Budapest in summer 2024 and made three Bundesliga and two UEFA Women's Champions League appearances in her debut campaign.
A product of Ferencváros' youth setup, Papp broke into the first team in April 2017 and went on to lift five Hungarian league titles. The Hungarian Football Association named her the division's best player following the 2023/24 season.
Papp has earned 32 senior caps for Hungary since debuting against Bosnia and Herzegovina in April 2021, having previously represented her country at U17 and U19 level.
