London City Lionesses have landed Spanish youth international Daniela Arques from Sporting Clube de Portugal on a three-year deal, making her the club's eighth summer signing.

London City Lionesses clearly aren't done shopping. The club have snapped up Spanish youth international Daniela Arques from Sporting Clube de Portugal, tying the 20-year-old midfielder down on a three-year contract.
She becomes their eighth signing of the summer window - and at this rate, they might need a bigger dressing room.
Despite her age, Arques has already racked up some decent mileage. She kicked off at SMX Athletic Club de Murcia before spells at Alhama CF and Levante UD. Her most recent stop was Sporting, where she made 32 appearances and chipped in with three assists last season, as detailed by WSL Full-Time.
Arques has also pulled on a Spain shirt at various youth levels, including the Under-20s - handy experience for someone stepping into the Women's Super League.
The midfielder has spoken of her excitement at testing herself in England's top flight and learning from seasoned teammates. If her CV is anything to go by, she won't be hanging about.
