Muya Makes the Move

Watford have snapped up winger Karin Muya on a free transfer from Charlton Athletic, making her their seventh summer signing as they gear up for life in Barclays WSL2.

Not a bad bit of business for a player who didn't miss a single league game last season.

Promotion Pedigree

The 31-year-old spent three years at Charlton after arriving from London City Lionesses in 2023. She featured in every league fixture during the 2026/2027 campaign, bagging two goals along the way as Charlton clinched promotion to the Barclays Women's Super League.

Muya's CV reads like a European tour. She's previously turned out for Chelsea, Italian side ASD Orobica Calcio Bergamo, and San Marino Academy. She also has a connection with coach Melissa Phillips from their shared time at London City Lionesses, as reported by WSL Full-Time.
