Manchester City Women are wasting no time defending their WSL crown. The campaign kicks off on Sunday, 6 September with Birmingham City visiting the Joie Stadium - not a bad way to start proceedings.

Big Dates at the Etihad

The real box-office stuff lands in October. Arsenal roll into the Etihad Stadium on Sunday, 4 October, a fixture that practically sells itself after last season's nail-biting title race. City edged that one 3-2 at the Joie Stadium back in October 2025.

The second Manchester derby of the season follows on the weekend of 12-14 February 2027. City thumped United 3-0 at the Etihad last term, so expectations will be sky-high.

Early Fixtures Pile Up

Before the marquee clashes, City face Aston Villa on Sunday, 13 September and then Liverpool on Friday, 18 September. Three matches in under a fortnight - no easing in gently, then.

Tickets Get a Revamp

Fans eager to bag seats should note a new staggered ticket release for the 2026/27 season. A two-game Etihad Pass covers both big home fixtures, and Early Bird pricing is available for the Arsenal clash, as OneFootball reports. Supporters can lock in the same seat for both matches.
