The 27-year-old Irish international leaves Liverpool after 76 appearances and 23 goals to start a new chapter on Tyneside.

Newcastle United have snapped up Liverpool forward Leanne Kiernan on a permanent deal for an undisclosed fee. Quick, sharp, and hungry for goals - the Magpies might just have landed themselves a bargain.
The 27-year-old racked up 76 appearances for Liverpool, finding the net 23 times. She also picked up a Barclays WSL2 winners' medal in the 2021/2022 season - not a bad bit of silverware to bring along.
Kiernan originally moved to Liverpool from West Ham United in the summer of 2021, and has been a consistent presence in the squad ever since.
On the international front, Kiernan has pulled on a Republic of Ireland shirt 44 times, bagging four goals for her country. That kind of experience doesn't grow on trees.
The forward herself sounded thrilled about the switch, expressing excitement at meeting the Newcastle faithful and getting stuck in. She described herself as a pacey attacker with one clear mission: putting the ball in the net.
Frankly, that's the sort of attitude Tyneside can get behind, as WSL Full-Time reports.
