The club confirmed the departure ahead of the new campaign, drawing a line under a brief stint on Tyneside that lasted just one season.
Grec arrived last summer from French side Dijon FCO and managed seven appearances during the 2025/2026 Barclays WSL2 season. Not exactly a blockbuster run, but she played her part in a mid-table finish, as WSL Full-Time reports.
Her destination remains unconfirmed, though she is expected to land at a club outside England. Given her well-travelled CV, that's hardly a surprise.
Grec kicked off her senior career in Poland with KŚ AZS Wrocław before switching to Górnik Łęczna. She then headed to Austria's SKN St. Pölten and spent three years in France with Dijon FCO. Newcastle was just the latest stop on what has been a proper European tour.
