VfL Wolfsburg have completed the signing of Slovenian forward Lara Prasnikar from Utah Royals. The deal runs until 30 June 2029, as confirmed by OneFootball.
Prasnikar is no stranger to German football. She spent four years at 1. FFC Turbine Potsdam between 2016 and 2020 before moving to Eintracht Frankfurt, where she netted 68 goals in 162 Bundesliga outings across five seasons.
Her time stateside with the Utah Royals was short - twelve appearances and two goals - before the opportunity to return to the Bundesliga arose.
On the international stage, the 27-year-old boasts 94 caps and 48 goals for Slovenia. She was crowned Slovenian National Player of the Year in 2023.
Prasnikar will take the number 9 shirt and is expected to bolster the side's attacking options. Capable of operating as a central striker or in a deeper role, she offers tactical flexibility that Wolfsburg will look to exploit as they chase silverware this season.
