Jackie Young was simply unstoppable as the Las Vegas Aces locked in their postseason spot, pouring in a season-high 32 points against the Washington Mystics. Young drained five 3-pointers on the night and was ruthlessly efficient, finishing 10-of-14 from the field and 7-of-8 from the free-throw line.
Her most decisive contribution came in the fourth quarter, where she rattled off 12 unanswered points - including a crucial three that stretched the Aces' advantage beyond reach.
A'ja Wilson chipped in 15 points while Jewell Loyd added 13 as Las Vegas controlled proceedings. The Aces surged ahead with an early 14-2 run, though the Mystics clawed back before the break, trailing 38-32 at half-time.
Washington put up a fight. Shakira Austin was excellent with 29 points and eight rebounds, and Sonia Citron contributed 17 points alongside eight assists. But it wasn't enough. The defeat marked the Mystics' second consecutive loss after a seven-game winning streak had raised expectations.
