Fresh start in Germany

SC Sand have snapped up 19-year-old winger Mélisande Ulrich from RC Strasbourg, as Soccerdonna reports. The versatile youngster, capable of operating on either flank or at full-back, makes the cross-border move to the German club.

Limited first-team action

Ulrich was promoted to Strasbourg's senior squad for the 2025/26 campaign but failed to earn any Première Ligue minutes. She instead featured for the club's U19 side in the Championnat National Féminin U19.

Alsatian roots

Born in Saverne, Ulrich developed through youth football in Alsace, progressing through Racing's academy ranks. She also trained at the Pôle Espoirs Féminin Grand Est in Strasbourg before sealing her move to Sand.
