Kathy Hendrich's American adventure is over. The 34-year-old defender has cut short her time with the Chicago Stars and sealed a move back to the Bundesliga with 1. FC Köln.
Hendrich originally departed German football in the summer of 2025 to join Chicago. But after little more than a year in the US, she opted to terminate her contract, as Kicker reports.
The experienced defender now bolsters Köln's ranks ahead of a fresh Bundesliga campaign. Her new side face an immediate test - they kick off their season against Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday at 12 PM.
