Fiorentina have snapped up 19-year-old Spanish forward Alba Cerrato on a deal running until 30 June 2030. The teenager arrives as a free agent after her contract with FC Sevilla expired at the end of June, as reported by Soccerdonna.
Cerrato racked up 55 Liga F appearances for Sevilla, scoring three goals. Last season she featured 25 times - mostly off the bench - bagging two goals. Not bad for someone who debuted aged just 16 on 5 May 2023, having come through the youth ranks at Séneca CF before joining Sevilla's academy.
Here's the wild part. Cerrato is a three-time European Championship winner with Spain's youth teams. She claimed the U17 title in 2024 as top scorer with seven goals and best player. Then she added consecutive U19 crowns in 2025 and 2026 - netting three in four matches at the 2026 finals and earning a spot in the tournament's best XI. Fiorentina aren't signing potential. They're signing pedigree.
