Goalkeeper Selena Babb has completed a move to FC Como Women ahead of the 2026/27 campaign, as Soccerdonna reports. The 30-year-old, who holds both Surinamese and Dutch nationality, becomes a free agent signing after her AC Milan contract expired in June.
Babb's last year with the Rossonere was a frustrating one. She did not feature in the 2025/26 Serie A Women season after undergoing arthroscopic surgery on her left meniscus in October 2025. She did, however, return to the matchday squad before the campaign ended.
Babb originally arrived at AC Milan in the summer of 2020 from Sporting de Huelva, quickly establishing herself with appearances in her debut season. A loan spell at Sampdoria during the first half of 2021/22 brought four league outings before she headed back to Milan in January 2022. Her commitment to the club was extended in 2023 through to 30 June 2026.
Prior to Italy, Babb built experience across Europe with stints at Excelsior, Olimpia Cluj, and Apollon Limassol. She moved to Spain's Sporting de Huelva in 2019 before making her Serie A switch a year later.
Babb added a new chapter to her career in 2026, earning her first cap for the Suriname national team. She played the full 90 minutes in a World Cup qualifier against Haiti in March.
