Nottingham Forest have landed forward Shania Hayles on a free transfer from Newcastle United.
AINottingham Forest have snapped up striker Shania Hayles on a free transfer, handing her a one-year deal at The City Ground.
The 26-year-old arrives after parting ways with Newcastle United this summer. Not a bad CV she's bringing along, either - 44 appearances and 20 goals in two seasons on Tyneside.
Hayles cut her teeth at Birmingham City before moving to Aston Villa, where she helped secure promotion to the Barclays Women's Super League. She also tasted promotion success with Bristol City. That's a habit worth having.
With nearly 200 professional appearances under her belt, she's no stranger to the big occasions.
Hayles becomes Forest's sixth summer signing, as WSL Full-Time reports. The club are clearly not done building ahead of the new campaign.
