Charley Hull's supporters were left in disbelief at Centurion Club near St Albans. The English star had just seized a one-shot lead - then promptly destroyed it with a catastrophic four-putt on the 17th hole.

Let that sink in. Four putts. At the worst possible moment.

Huang Swoops In

Canada's Huang needed no second invitation. She closed the tournament with a sensational eagle on the final hole, winning by two shots. Huang had led after round one and never truly lost her grip on the event.

Her best round came on Saturday - an eight-under 65 that kept her firmly in contention.

Hull's Bitter-Sweet Week

The cruel irony? Hull had produced one of the greatest rounds in Ladies European Tour history. Her second-round 62, at 11 under par, matched the all-time LET record. Yet it counted for nothing when the pressure arrived on Sunday.

Hull finished at 20 under par. Singapore's Shannon Tan took third, three shots further back. Thailand's Patty Tavatanakit claimed fourth at 15 under.

There is no kind way to describe what happened on that 17th green. Hull had the tournament in her hands and let it slip in the most painful fashion imaginable.
