Wolfsburg lining up another loan deal

VfL Wolfsburg are on the verge of sending Mara Alber out on loan once again, with an official announcement reportedly imminent.

The 20-year-old German U23 international, originally from Brackenheim, remains tied to Wolfsburg until 2029. Her market value of €225,000 makes a permanent departure unlikely at this stage, pointing instead towards another temporary switch within the Bundesliga, as Soccerdonna reports.

Productive spell at Werder Bremen

Alber spent last season on loan at Werder Bremen, where she racked up 13 appearances and contributed two goals and two assists - good for four Bundesliga points overall. It was a solid showing for a player still in the early stages of her career.
