Well, this one's going to sting at Anfield. Everton have snapped up defender Hannah Silcock from local rivals Liverpool for an undisclosed fee, as reported by WSL Full-Time.
The 21-year-old, who came through Liverpool's academy and racked up 22 senior appearances, has packed her bags and headed across Stanley Park.
Silcock brings international experience too, having represented England at Under-23 level. Not a bad addition to the backline.
She becomes Everton's ninth summer signing - and clearly the most awkward one for the neighbours. Silcock herself has spoken of her excitement about the move and her eagerness to play at Goodison Park.
Everton are clearly not messing about this window.
