The 19-year-old Arsenal academy product heads to the NWSL on a deal running through 2029.

San Diego Wave have secured the permanent signing of midfielder Laila Harbert from Arsenal, locking the teenager down until the end of the 2029 NWSL season.
The 19-year-old, a product of Arsenal's academy, penned her first professional deal with the Gunners back in 2025 but now heads stateside for a fresh chapter in her career.
Harbert hasn't been short of experience despite her age. Stints at Watford, Southampton, Portland Thorns and Everton gave her valuable senior minutes, while she also featured for Arsenal's first team in non-competitive fixtures.
On the international stage, she has represented England at every youth level up to Under-23s - a pedigree that clearly caught San Diego's attention.
Sporting Director and General Manager Camille Ashton hailed the deal, pointing to Harbert's raw talent and the impact she could have in southern California, as reported by OneFootball.
For the Wave, it's a statement signing - snapping up a promising English midfielder before she's even hit 20. Whether Harbert can translate her potential into consistent NWSL performances will be the real test.
