The 23-year-old captain has committed her future to Brighton & Hove Albion with a fresh long-term deal.

Maisie Symonds isn't going anywhere - and Brighton fans can breathe easy. The 23-year-old midfielder has put pen to paper on a new long-term deal with Brighton & Hove Albion, as WSL Full-Time reports.
Symonds arrived at the club back in 2021 and wasted no time making an impression. She earned her first professional contract shortly afterwards and has since racked up 103 appearances across all competitions. Not bad for someone still in her early twenties.
She now wears the armband too - proof, if any were needed, of her standing in the dressing room.
Last season brought a memorable run to the Adobe Women's FA Cup final. While the trophy ultimately slipped away, the experience clearly cemented Symonds' desire to stick around and push for more.
Speaking after confirming her new deal, Symonds made clear just how much the club means to her. Having grown alongside the team over six years, she's hungry for what comes next. Brighton will be glad she's staying to lead the charge.
