Pierre-Louis returns home to Montreal Roses

Hometown return

Haitian winger Amandine Pierre-Louis has completed a move to the Montreal Roses, heading back to the city where she was born after parting ways with AS Saint-Étienne.

The 31-year-old spent three seasons at ASSE, racking up 63 appearances and 11 goals across all competitions. Of those, 53 outings came in the Premièr Ligue, where she found the net five times, Soccerdonna reports.

A well-travelled career

Pierre-Louis first made her name at West Virginia University between 2014 and 2017, earning 92 caps and reaching the NCAA Championship final in 2016. She claimed All-America honours in both 2016 and 2017 and was named Big 12 Conference best defender in her final collegiate year.

Sky Blue FC picked her sixth overall in the 2018 NWSL College Draft. Two years later she crossed the Atlantic, turning out for FC Metz, Slavia Prague, AaB Aalborg and Rodez before landing at Saint-Étienne in 2023.

Final season in France

In 2025/26, Pierre-Louis featured in 16 Premièr Ligue matches - six from the start - plus one Coupe de France tie and three Coupe LFFP fixtures. Her sole goal of the campaign came against Grenoble.

International pedigree

A former Canada youth international, Pierre-Louis has since switched allegiance to Haiti and has earned 19 senior caps for Les Grenadières.
