Manchester City have handed Amelia Oldroyd her first professional contract - and honestly, the teenager hasn't hung about.
The midfielder only rocked up at City's Girls' Academy in October 2025, but she's already made enough noise to earn a proper deal, as reported by WSL Full-Time.
Oldroyd impressed head coach André Jeglertz almost immediately. She featured for the Next Gen Under-21 side in the Professional Game Academy League and earned spots in several first-team matchday squads. Not bad for someone still finding her feet.
Beyond club duties, Oldroyd represents Scotland at Under-19 level, adding international pedigree to her growing CV.
There's a small catch. Oldroyd is currently sidelined with a knee injury and working through rehabilitation. Still, with a fresh contract in hand and plenty of momentum behind her, the comeback should carry extra motivation.
