Miles dominates as Lynx extend streak

Olivia Miles put on a clinic on Saturday night, pouring in 28 points on a scorching 11-of-14 shooting to power the Minnesota Lynx past the Indiana Fever 108-100. The result stretched Minnesota's winning run to ten games and cemented their position atop the WNBA standings at 25-6.

Miles added six assists, four rebounds and a block to her tally - a complete performance that proved too much for Indiana to contain.

Technical foul won't slow her down

The second quarter saw a brief flash of frustration from Miles, who picked up a technical foul after reacting to a no-call following a turnover. It was her third technical of the campaign, which carries an automatic $500 fine under WNBA regulations.

It barely interrupted her rhythm. Miles stayed locked in and continued to torment the Fever defence throughout the contest.

Supporting cast delivers

Miles wasn't alone in lighting up the scoreboard. Courtney Williams chipped in 27 points, while Napheesa Collier filled the stat sheet with 18 points, eight rebounds and seven assists.

For Indiana, Kelsey Mitchell was sensational in a losing cause, dropping 37 points - her fifth 30-point outing this season. Caitlin Clark finished with 19 points as the Fever slipped to 19-11.

Electric atmosphere in Minnesota

A crowd of 16,505 packed the arena, with a sizeable contingent of Fever supporters in attendance. Clark's roots in nearby West Des Moines, Iowa, helped swell the visiting fanbase. Miles acknowledged the unusual energy, noting it was thrilling to hear cheers ringing out for both sides.
