Former professional footballer Valentina Maceri is set to make her first appearance as part of DAZN's moderation team this Saturday, taking the reins for the Bundesliga conference covering TSG Hoffenheim versus Borussia Dortmund.
Maceri's football credentials run deep. She turned out for 1. FC Nürnberg and Italian side ASD CF Bardolino Verona during her playing days, and represented Germany at several youth international levels with the DFB.
Since hanging up her boots, Maceri has built a strong portfolio in sports broadcasting and TV presentation, with stints at blue Sport and WELT. She is no stranger to DAZN either - back in 2023, she hosted the platform's "Champions Week" segment, which showcased Champions League highlights.
Her permanent addition to the moderation lineup marks a significant step for both Maceri and the broadcaster as the new Bundesliga season gets under way.
