Swedish side Djurgården have completed the signing of midfielder Sade Heinrichs from Portuguese outfit CS Maritimo. The 24-year-old has penned a deal that runs until 2027.
Heinrichs brings a well-travelled CV to Stockholm. She previously turned out for Borussia Mönchengladbach in Germany and spent time in the United States playing college football at Georgia Southern.
Sports director Jean Balawo was quick to outline what the new recruit adds, pointing to her physicality, technical ability and tactical awareness as exactly what the squad needs given their current standing in the league.
Heinrichs herself said she was delighted to join and has felt welcomed since arriving at the club, Fotbollskanalen reports.
