FC Bayern Frauen eased to a comfortable 2-0 pre-season win over Paris FC, with Pernille Harder and Alara scoring first-half goals ahead of next week's Supercup clash.
AIFC Bayern Frauen cruised past Paris FC 2-0 in a warm-up fixture at Sportpark Unterhaching on Saturday, delivering a confident performance in front of 6,000 fans at what will become their future home ground.
José Barcala's side wasted little time asserting themselves. Pernille Harder broke the deadlock on 13 minutes, finishing off a well-delivered cross from Stine Ballisager. Alara then made it two in the 35th minute, nodding home after a Klara Bühl free kick.
Bayern could have extended their lead further. Jovana Damnjanović rattled the crossbar in the 51st minute, and Harder went close moments later. A raft of substitutions from both sides disrupted the rhythm, though Clara Choisy marked the occasion with her debut appearance as the hosts comfortably saw out the result.
Attention now turns to silverware. FC Bayern Frauen face VfL Wolfsburg in the Google Pixel Supercup on 15 August before opening their Frauen-Bundesliga season against 1. FC Union Berlin on 21 August.
