The WSL has unveiled the full schedule for the revamped Subway Players Cup 2026-2027, with 69 group-stage matches and a knockout finale.

The 2026-2027 edition gets underway on 23 September, as Footeuses reports, with the final phase pencilled in between January and March 2027.
Twenty-three clubs have been split into two geographical groups. The North section features eleven teams, while twelve sides make up the South. Each club plays six matches - three at home, three away - against regional rivals.
The group phase runs from 23 September to 16 December 2026. Opening day serves up some tasty fixtures: Everton host Birmingham City, Liverpool welcome Sunderland, and Manchester United face Sheffield United.
The top eight sides progress to the quarter-finals on 13-14 January 2027. Semi-finals follow on 10-11 February, with the grand final set for a neutral venue on the weekend of 13-14 March 2027.
