FC Rosengård have moved to bolster their struggling attack by landing 23-year-old forward Simone Jackson on loan from NWSL side Orlando Pride. The deal runs until 30 June 2027.
Jackson arrives with a glowing endorsement from Marta, the Brazilian icon who previously starred for Rosengård. Football chief Caroline Seger described the American as an explosive presence with pace, power, and real quality inside the box.
The signing comes at a critical moment. Rosengård currently occupy a relegation place in the Damallsvenskan, having managed just two wins all season. A recent defeat to Eskilstuna United underlined the scale of the challenge facing the club.
Jackson is yet to register a league goal for Orlando Pride, but she is widely regarded as a natural goal-scorer whose speed and technical ability could provide the spark Rosengård badly need, as reported by Fotbollskanalen.
