Manchester City have snapped up England goalkeeper Anna Moorhouse on a short-term loan from Orlando Pride, subject to the usual registration and clearance formalities.
The 31-year-old arrives with a glittering recent CV. During her time in the National Women's Soccer League, Moorhouse set the competition's single-season clean sheet record with 13 shutouts - a run that helped Orlando Pride clinch both the NWSL Shield and Championship.
First called up to the senior England squad in July 2024, Moorhouse went on to be part of the Euro 2025-winning side. She made her international debut at Wembley Stadium and, remarkably, has kept a clean sheet in every cap so far.
Moorhouse's career has taken her across two continents. Before joining Orlando Pride, she played for Bordeaux in France and turned out for a string of English clubs: Arsenal, Everton, West Ham United, Durham, and Doncaster Rovers Belles.
