North Carolina Courage boss Mak Lind has picked up the NWSL Coach of the Month award for August after steering his side through a blistering run of form.
The Courage won four of their six fixtures during the month, netting at least twice in every outing. The highlight? A four-goal demolition of the Washington Spirit that underlined just how potent this team has become, as NWSL reports.
With 40 goals to their name this season, the Courage lead the entire NWSL in scoring - a stat that tells you everything about the attacking identity Lind has built.
The award was decided by the NWSL Media Association alongside the league's broadcast talent.
That prolific form has the Courage sitting sixth in the table and firmly inside the playoff places. If Lind's side keep finding the net at this rate, they could be a serious threat come the business end of the campaign.
