Swedish defender Emma Kullberg has found a new home in Italian football. The 34-year-old has penned a deal with Inter Milan running until 30 June 2027, two months after parting ways with Juventus.
During her time in Turin, Kullberg racked up 55 competitive appearances and netted twice across two seasons. She played a key role in Juventus' Italian championship and Coppa Italia triumphs, featuring in 29 matches during her debut campaign.
Her involvement dipped in 2025/26, however, with just eight Serie A Women outings and six Champions League appearances - a reduced role that ultimately led to her departure.
Kullberg is no stranger to moving between leagues. She spent two and a half years at Brighton & Hove Albion in the Women's Super League before heading to Juventus, having initially left BK Häcken for England in early 2022.
Her CV also includes a Swedish championship winner's medal with Kopparbergs/Göteborg in 2020, as confirmed by Soccerdonna.
Since making her senior debut for Sweden in 2019, Kullberg has earned 16 caps. Her crowning international moment came at the Tokyo Olympics in 2021, where she was part of the squad that claimed silver.
