Sheffield United have snapped up West Ham United midfielder Halle Houssein on a season-long loan - making her the club's sixth signing of a busy summer window.
The 21-year-old brings plenty of pedigree. She left Arsenal to join the Hammers back in 2022 and has since racked up several first-team outings. A loan spell at Reading during the 2023/2024 campaign saw her clock 13 WSL2 appearances, so she's no stranger to competitive football.
Houssein has been capped eight times by Turkey and even represented England at youth level - a dual-national CV that's not too shabby for someone still just 21.
The midfielder reportedly couldn't contain her enthusiasm after arriving at Bramall Lane, praising the warm welcome she received on her very first day with the squad. That's the spirit.
