Notably absent is Emma Raducanu, who continues to recover from the injury that forced her withdrawal from Wimbledon earlier this summer. Sonay Kartal has also been ruled out on fitness grounds.
Captain Anne Keothavong has largely retained the squad that saw off Australia in April's qualifying round, though Boulter comes in to replace Katie Swan. Fran Jones misses out entirely, as The Independent reports.
Britain face a daunting quarter-final clash against Czechia, whose ranks include Wimbledon champion Linda Noskova. It is a stern draw, but this squad has pedigree - GB have reached the semi-finals in three of the past four seasons.
Their qualification campaign offered encouragement too. Teenager Stojsavljevic marked her debut by winning a singles rubber in the victory over Australia, underlining the depth Keothavong now has at her disposal.
