Eintracht Frankfurt have snapped up English forward Vivienne Lia from Arsenal FC, tying the 19-year-old to a deal running until 30 June 2030. She will don the number 24 shirt at her new club.
Lia spent the past 18 months gaining experience away from Arsenal. A January 2025 loan to Southampton saw her feature in nine Women's Championship matches. She then moved to Nottingham Forest, making twelve appearances and registering one assist.
Her most adventurous move came in spring 2026 when she joined Swedish side Hammarby IF - her first stint abroad. Seven Damallsvenskan outings and four Svenska Cupen games followed, with Hammarby lifting the Swedish Cup in May.
Lia entered Arsenal's youth academy aged 14 in 2021 and broke into the first team in February 2024, debuting in a League Cup quarter-final. She signed her first professional contract with the Gunners in January 2025 before embarking on her loan journey, Soccerdonna reports.
Internationally, Lia has represented England at U17 and U19 level, featuring at the U19 European Championships in both 2024 and 2025. She is currently with the England U20 squad as they prepare for the U20 World Cup in Poland.
