Charley Hull is an English professional golfer and one of the leading British players in women's golf. Born on March 20, 1996, in Kettering, Northamptonshire, England, Hull turned professional in 2013 and has established herself as a prominent competitor on both the LPGA Tour and Ladies European Tour (LET).
Hull enjoyed an immediate breakthrough after turning professional, earning LET Rookie of the Year honors in 2013 before winning the Ladies European Tour Order of Merit in 2014. Her first LPGA Tour victory came at the 2016 CME Group Tour Championship, and she has since added further victories on both the LPGA Tour and Ladies European Tour.
She has also been a regular contender in women's golf's five major championships: The Chevron Championship, U.S. Women's Open, KPMG Women's PGA Championship, The Amundi Evian Championship, and AIG Women's Open. Hull has recorded several runner-up finishes in majors, including at the U.S. Women's Open and AIG Women's Open, although a first major championship remains one of the biggest targets of her career.
Hull has represented Europe in the Solheim Cup on numerous occasions. She made her debut in 2013 at just 17 years old, becoming the youngest player at the time to compete in the event, and has been part of multiple victorious European teams.
Known for her aggressive style of play, powerful ball-striking, fast pace and attacking approach, Hull competes against many of the biggest names in women's golf, including Nelly Korda, Lydia Ko, Jeeno Thitikul, Minjee Lee, Lilia Vu, and Brooke Henderson. In 2026, she reached a career-high position of World No. 3, the highest ranking achieved by a British female golfer.
