Vergani signs for Roma until 2030

Defender Bianca Vergani has completed a move to AS Roma on a contract running until 2030 after an impressive campaign with Napoli.

Roma secure Vergani until 2030

AS Roma have landed defender Bianca Vergani on a deal running through to 30 June 2030. The 23-year-old, who will pull on the number 32 shirt, arrives after a productive spell with Napoli, Soccerdonna reports.

Strong season at Napoli

Vergani racked up 19 appearances for Napoli last term - 13 in Serie A Women, three in the Coppa Italia Women and three more in the Serie A Women's Cup. She clocked over 1,600 minutes across all competitions.

From Inter to Verona and beyond

A product of Inter Milan's academy, Vergani broke into senior football during the 2020/21 and 2021/22 campaigns. She moved to Hellas Verona for 2022/23, notching two goals in 13 league outings, before a loan stint at Cesena preceded her switch to Napoli in 2025.

Italy youth recognition

On the international stage, Vergani has featured for Italy's U23 side and was called up to a training camp in Tirrenia in May 2026.
