Finishing 11th is nobody's idea of a good time, and Liverpool Women know it. But under Gareth Taylor, the squad heading into the new campaign looks considerably more robust than the one that limped through last season.

Fresh faces, familiar stars

The big news? They've kept Ceri Holland. That alone deserves a small celebration. Holland was Liverpool's chief creative spark last term and remains central to their plans, priced at £6.5m in fantasy terms.
