Let's be blunt: Nelly Korda and Haeran Ryu have made the 2026 major season their personal playground. Korda claimed the Chevron Championship and US Women's Open. Lydia Ko fancies her chances of a fourth major title and second Women's Open crown, though she's described the Lancashire links as the toughest Women's Open venue she's encountered. Her recent form - tied 15th at the KPMG and shared seventh at the Evian - is steady rather than spectacular. She'll be grouped with Korda and Ryu for rounds one and two. Good luck with that.

Defending champion Miyu Yamashita arrives off the back of her triumph at Royal Porthcawl last year. She's added two more LPGA Tour titles since.
