Polish striker heads to Serie A

Serie A side US Sassuolo have snapped up 19-year-old Polish forward Kinga Wyrwas from Śląsk Wrocław following the expiry of her contract. No details on the length of her new deal have been disclosed, Soccerdonna reports.

Strong return from injury

Wyrwas spent two seasons at Śląsk Wrocław but missed a significant chunk of action through injury. She made a notable comeback in the second half of the 2025/26 campaign, featuring in all eleven league fixtures and netting four goals - including a hat-trick in a 6-1 demolition of Stomilanki Olsztyn.

From Łódź to Bydgoszcz to Wrocław

The teenager's career began at PSV Łódź before she stepped up to Sportis KKP Bydgoszcz, where she broke into the Ekstraliga during the 2022/23 season. A move to Śląsk Wrocław followed in the summer of 2024.

Proven pedigree at youth level

Wyrwas has been a regular in Poland's youth set-up. She appeared in all four of Poland's matches at the 2024 U17 World Cup, scoring against Zambia as her side reached the quarter-finals. She also featured in the U19 European Championship squads in both 2025 and 2026.
