Fiorentina land Spanish teenage talent

ACF Fiorentina have secured the signature of Alba Cerrato, the 19-year-old Spanish forward who arrives on a deal running until 30 June 2030. The move comes after her previous contract with FC Sevilla expired at the end of June, as Soccerdonna reports.

Proven pedigree at youth level

Cerrato's international CV is remarkable. She lifted the U17 European Championship with Spain in 2024, finishing as the tournament's top scorer with seven goals and collecting the best player award. She then added back-to-back U19 European Championship titles in 2025 and 2026, netting three goals in four matches at the 2026 finals and earning a spot in the tournament's best XI.

From Séneca CF to Serie A

A product of Séneca CF's youth set-up, Cerrato moved to FC Sevilla's academy before making her first-team debut on 5 May 2023 - aged just 16. She signed her first professional deal shortly afterwards. Across her time at Sevilla, she racked up 55 Liga F appearances and three goals, with 25 of those outings coming in the 2025/26 campaign, mostly from the bench.

Now she heads to Florence with a point to prove at senior level - and plenty of time on her side to do it.
