Paige Bueckers matched Clark's 29 points for Dallas but it wasn't enough as the Wings dropped their seventh loss in ten games. The victory was Indiana's eighth in ten, nudging them a half-game clear of the Atlanta Dream for the No. 4 playoff seed.
Jackie Young exploded for a season-high 32 points as the Las Vegas Aces clinched their playoff berth with a win over the Washington Mystics. Australian golfer Jessica Bang has died at the age of 18 after suffering a brain haemorrhage during a qualifying event in Thailand on 1 August. The WPGA Tour of Australasia confirmed her death.
