A crowd of 2,855 watched Hamburger SV and RB Leipzig share the spoils in a 1-1 draw at the Hamburger Volksparkstadion in matchday three of the Google Pixel Frauen-Bundesliga.
The result leaves HSV on two points from three games, while Leipzig picked up their first point of the campaign.
Leipzig were the sharper side early on, controlling much of the opening half hour. Delice Boboy opened her account for the season in the 21st minute to hand the visitors a deserved lead.
The advantage lasted barely 13 minutes. A handball inside the area gave HSV a spot-kick, and Camilla Linberg made no mistake from 12 yards to level the scores in the 34th minute.
The second half was a more even affair, though neither side could find the decisive blow. Emilia Asgeirsdottir fired over for Leipzig, while HSV goalkeeper Kinga Szemik produced several sharp saves to keep the scores level.
HSV welcomed captain Pauline Machtens back into their starting eleven. Leipzig, meanwhile, made three changes, handing first starts to Nikée van Dijk and Sára Pusztai. Both squads continued to be hampered by injuries, as reported by OneFootball.
