Paris Saint-Germain Women wasted no time making their mark in the new season, cruising to a comfortable 2-0 win over Lens on Saturday in the opening fixture of the 2026-2027 Première Ligue Arkéma campaign.
Nigerian international Rasheedat Ajibade set the tone early, finding the net just three minutes into the contest at the PSG Campus. It was a statement of intent from the Parisian side, who controlled proceedings from the off.
Lens held firm for much of the match but were undone again in the 73rd minute when Laureen Oillic turned the ball into her own net, as OneFootball reports, doubling PSG's advantage and effectively ending the contest.
It was a solid opening day for PSG Women, who will look to build on this winning start as the French top flight gets underway.
