The 24-year-old midfielder arrives fresh from a stellar season in the Ninja A-League, where she helped Melbourne City clinch both the Premiership and Championship in 2025/2026. A proper double, that.
McKenna's CV reads like a tour of Australian football. She kicked off her career at Perth Glory before stints at FW NTC, Brisbane Roar, Blacktown Spartans, and South Melbourne. So she's hardly short on experience.
Internationally, she picked up an ASEAN Women's Championship medal with the Australia Under-23s last year and made her senior debut in April. Not too shabby for someone still in her mid-twenties.
Head coach Tom Mallinson was clearly chuffed with the signing, praising McKenna's potential and what she'll bring to Forest's engine room, as highlighted by WSL Full-Time.
If her form Down Under is anything to go by, Forest fans might have a new favourite on their hands.
