Eintracht Frankfurt have pulled off a tidy bit of business, landing 19-year-old English forward Vivienne Lia from Arsenal FC on a deal running until 30 June 2030. She'll don the number 24 shirt in Germany, Soccerdonna reports.
Lia has packed a lot into the last 18 months. Loan stints at Southampton (nine Women's Championship appearances), Nottingham Forest (twelve matches, one assist), and Sweden's Hammarby IF (seven Damallsvenskan outings plus four Svenska Cupen games) have given her a solid grounding across multiple leagues.
She joined Arsenal's youth setup aged 14 and made her senior debut in February 2024 during a League Cup quarter-final. A first professional contract followed in January 2025 - just before she headed to Southampton on her maiden loan.
Internationally, Lia has featured for England at U17 and U19 level, including back-to-back U19 European Championships in 2024 and 2025. She's currently with the England U20 squad gearing up for the U20 World Cup in Poland. Not bad for someone who can't yet legally buy a pint in most countries.
