Despite initial concerns, the forecast for the race weekend at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez appears to be unexpectedly benign, offering conditions for a thrilling race.

Contrary to the apprehensions raised by the hurricane's trajectory, the climate over the circuit is projected to be predominantly dry, sunny, and warm. However, a noteworthy aspect is the presence of some wind, a factor that drivers and teams will need to skillfully navigate. Thursday Night to Friday Morning 

The period from Thursday night to Friday morning shows some variability with rainfall expected. Despite this nocturnal downpour, conditions are predicted to improve significantly, drying out in time for the first free practice session (FP1).

Scheduled to commence at 12:30 PM, FP1 is anticipated to witness a temperature around 21°C (69.8°F). The likelihood of rain during this session is pegged at a minimal 8%, under partly cloudy skies. A gentle breeze from the northeast at approximately 6 mph will be present, potentially influencing aerodynamic setups and cooling strategies. 

FP2 Predictions 

Moving to the second free practice session (FP2), temperatures are expected to rise marginally, enhancing track conditions. The chance of precipitation sees a slight increase to 12%, still leaving teams with a predominantly dry track for setup and tire evaluations. Wind speeds are forecasted to remain steady, maintaining the day's earlier characteristics.
